Custom software for factories

A factory reaches a system when spreadsheets between production, sales, and purchasing die in week two. A full ERP on day one usually poisons master data. KGSM stabilizes two workflows, then opens the third module.

What problem does this software solve?

Without a warehouse document on every in and out, production reports lie and sales orders promise goods that are not there.

KGSM builds ERP in stages: version one is warehouse and orders on one dataset. Full accounting, MRP, and line scheduling wait.

Who is it for?

A factory or warehouse lead whose stock, sales orders, and purchases are three different numbers

What does the system do in this industry?

Version-one scope. Modules not listed here wait and are estimated separately.

Warehouse and orders share data

Sales should not oversell available stock unless make-to-order is explicit. Goods-in has a document: purchase, return, production. Goods-out has a document: sale, scrap, line consumption. Version one: item, unit, warehouse, receipt, issue, sales order.

Purchasing inbox

Line or sales requisitions go to a purchasing inbox, not a phone call. Supplier price in version one must match the goods-in receipt. Expiry or serial goods change scope. Shortages show the same week.

Open production in stages

Finished-goods receipts are stable when materials decrement the materials warehouse. Promising both on day one poisons units and items. Shift planning and machine maintenance are another version.

Version-one capabilities

  • Document every warehouse in and out.
  • Tie sales orders to available-to-promise stock.
  • Finish version one on warehouse and orders.
  • Put purchase requests in an inbox, not a phone call.
  • Lock item units before master-data load.
  • Open production and MRP after the warehouse is stable.

Delivery stages

  1. Freeze version one

One full workflow on paper: roles, documents, a measurable output.

  2. Demo on live data

Managers and staff click the same document on real data — not a pretty mockup.

  3. Handoff and code ownership

Role training, repo, backups, and a support contract — you are not locked in.

Approximate cost

A warehouse-and-order pilot is typically in the tens of millions of tomans or more. Adding purchasing or production receipts after clean master data is cheaper than building everything at once.

What we have seen in the field

  • Sales promised from remembered stock and the line ran out of material.
  • Goods-in without a document bloated the warehouse and month-end count was meaningless.
  • Kilos and pieces mixed on one item and consumption reports lied.
  • A full ERP on day one poisoned supplier data and the team went back to Excel.

FAQ

Can we start from packaged warehouse software?

Maybe for one warehouse and simple sales. Several warehouses, production, and ATP usually need custom.

What is version one?

Item, warehouse, receipt and issue, sales order. Full purchasing and MRP later.

Is accounting included?

Voucher export or a package link is decided in discovery. A full ledger is a separate phase.
